We offer both in person and online appraisals. All items appraised for tax purposes must be personally inspected. Online appraisals can be made on the basis of good digital photographs but cannot be used for authentication. Authentication can only be arrived at after personal examination of the item. Online appraisals are based upon what is immediately apparent to us from the information that has been provided. They may be used to gather information such as identity, value, and history when deciding to sell, buy, or donate a work of art.
